Lidco Construction Inc. is a fully licensed and insured general contractor (MHIC 12993) in operation in the Baltimore area for 30 years. The company is owned by husband and wife, Paul and Nancy Lidard, and currently employs full time staff carpenters, assistants and various independent subcontractors. Founder and president Paul Lidard is a master carpenter with experience in all aspects of the construction industry from commercial to residential, heavy construction to fine woodworking and cabinetmaking. Nancy Golombeck Lidard has a degree in occupational safety and health and worked in the safety industry prior to becoming vice president of Lidco Construction in 1986. The business operates out of two locations, a home office and a separate shop site with a fully equipped woodworking fabrication facility.

Lidco Construction provides professional building services and quality custom remodeling work for all size projects but specializes in the total renovation of challenging older properties, many of historical importance in the region. Working with architects, designers, engineers and specialized consultants, Lidco Construction manages the full-scale rehabilitation of significant buildings from pre-construction planning through all phases of construction. Unlike many general contractors, Lidco employees actually work on their projects from start to finish and are involved in every aspect of the job, whether the project is a kitchen renovation or a complete historic restoration. Lidco also renovates and manages rental homes in the exciting Baltimore neighborhoods of Federal Hill and Hampden/Wyman Park. The highest quality materials, expert craftsmanship and attention to each and every detail are the hallmarks of Lidco’s work and the reason that Lidco Construction continues to earn the privilege of restoring and maintaining Baltimore’s finest homes.
